CANON CREATOR LAB LAUNCHES AT OVERACTIVE MEDIA HQ

Toronto Defiant and Canon Canada launch next phase of partnership

AUGUST 21, 2020 (Toronto, Canada) —  Toronto Defiant and its official streaming camera partner, Canon Canada, want to give local and upcoming streamers and content creators the chance to use next level streaming cameras with some of the highest quality for online gaming at the new OverActive Media headquarters.

The Canon Creator Lab will be the home base for Toronto Defiant content creators, streamers, players, and influencers. OverActive and Canon Canada will create opportunities for visiting and amateur streamers to sign up and use the Canon Creator Lab. It will immediately be open to OverActive players and streamers to use, as fans should expect content starting to roll out on Defiant social channels. It will also be accessible for ambassadors, streamers and content creators living outside of Toronto.

"This is a game-changer for the way I stream and the ability for me to stay connected with fans," said Brady ("Agilities") Girardi, Toronto Defiant player. "Quality, reliance and ease of use are all so important to the streaming process, and Canon is delivering on all three aspects. I can't wait to use the lab in the coming weeks!"

In the weeks and months ahead, the Defiant organization will be opening up access to local amateur and developing streamers and initiating a community program. The streaming program will also help provide tips and resources to up-and-coming streamers, in order for the community to use some of the best camera gear from Canon for live streaming.
